After more than two decades in the financial industry, I observed how ambition, success, responsibility, and expectation can shape a life.
Years spent alongside retired Thoroughbred racehorses offered a very different perspective — one that deepened my understanding of capacity, agency, trust, and the expectations we carry.
Today, my work explores the intersections of wealth, agency, stewardship, and returning to what is true. The 12 × 12 Journey™ and The Race We Choose grew from that inquiry, offering different expressions of the same invitation: to examine what has shaped us, discern what belongs, and find greater authorship in the lives we choose.
DEFINING: STEWARDSHIP
Stewardship is the act of holding with care, not merely owning with authority. It is more than management or responsibility; it is a way of being in relationship with what has been entrusted to us—wealth, influence, relationships, land, and legacy. True stewardship recognizes that nothing is fully ours, but that we are called to tend, preserve, and carry forward with integrity. At its heart, stewardship asks not only what do I hold, but how do I hold it—with strength, continuity, and the unseen choice to honor what matters most.
